Location of Course
​
The course is located in Lincoln Park at 120 Euclid Ave. The course surface is all grass, flat, with large sweeping curves.  The course is designed to be the ultimate spectator friendly course and allow fans to cheer on the runners' multiple times.

Entry
Entry links were sent out from athletic.net.  All teams are welcomed.  If you did not receive an invite, please log-in to athletic.net to register.

Registration:  Entries (rosters) are due by midnight on the Tuesday before the meet.  ​

Entry Fee
The entry fee will be $175 per gender ($350 per School).  

Individual entry fee is $25 till your team fee reaches the max of $175

Entry payments should be done on-line at the time of registration.  
If you cannot pay on-line with a credit card

Divisions    
Varsity A – School population of 399 or under
Varsity AA – School population of 400+

A can opt up to AA. AA cannot opt down.
Middle school athletes can run high school division (must be listed on HS roster)
Middle school races – runners must run in their grade level.

Open JV Races - Class A & Class AA

** All Boys and Girls Open results will be merged for awards. The only difference in sections is the start time. **

Results
​Hero Timing will having live results available.  There will be 1st mile splits for all races, and 2ndand 3rd mile splits for the the 5k races.  Official races results will be available on Herostiming.com and also athletic.net

Awards
Top 20 of each race will be escorted to the Winners Circle tent, where they will receive drinks and treats until the awards ceremony, which will be immediately after each race.

Winning Region - Announced at the conclusion of the meet. Region runners are invited up onto the stage for pictures with "The Paddle"

 Scoring system for the Region Border Battle Paddle Trophy.   
  • Each race division, which is currently 10 races, will be scored by standard cross-country scoring using each region's top 5 finishers.   (expect 7th & 8th grade races which will score top 3 finishers)
    • The winning region team in each division receives 1 point, second region team 2 points, etc. 
  • The final Border Battle region scores in the BATTLE FOR THE PADDLE is the total number of points scored from each race division.

Fan Busing & Parking

Parking for fans is available in the parking lots at Red River High School, Apollo Park, Kraft Field, and Eagles Arena located at 1900 South 25th St.  The fan bus pick-up area is located on the West side of Red River High School aka: main public entrance.  Loaded buses will transport fans into Lincoln Drive Park to be dropped off close to the race.  Entrance fees will be collected as the fans load the bus. Fan drop-off and loading in Lincoln Drive Park will take place at Plum Ave  (Location I).   Following every race, fans will have the opportunity be transported back to Red River High School. 
 
Fan Pick-up at Red River HS will start at 10:00am.  Return trips from Lincoln Drive Park will continuous until the last fan has been returned to Red River HS.

T-shirts/sweatshirts will be available for purchase in advance online. We will provide this link to coaches closer to the meet.

Trainers

Altru trainers will be at the course on the day of the race. They will have a tent near the finish line.  

Dressing Facilities         
Please come dressed and prepared to run. There are no locker room facilities available at Lincoln Drive Park.
