Does your state have the
​greatest XC Tradition?
 Are you willing to prove it? Come race at our designated cross-country course on the beautiful Greenway at Lincoln Drive Park in Grand Forks. This  large meet will have traditional team scoring, but as an added bonus, will also score each race with region being their own team (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Canada) using the top 5 runners from each region to determine the winner.

Battle for the Paddle

 Scoring system for the Border Battle.   
  • Each race division, which is currently 10 races, will be scored by standard cross-country scoring using each regions top 5 finishers.   
    • The winning region team in each division receives 1 point, second region team 2 points, etc. 
  • The final Border Battle region scores in the BATTLE FOR THE PADDLE is the total number of points scored from each race division. 

    Results from 2024: 
  1. North Dakota – 14 Points 
  2. Minnesota – 21 Points 
  3. South Dakota – 28 Points 
  4. Canada – 38 Points
